Florida International Terminal (FIT) – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, using, or interacting with any website, portal, SMS/MMS program, or system operated by Florida International Terminal LLC(“FIT,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use any FIT systems or services.


2. Scope

These Terms apply to all FIT-operated digital platforms and communication systems, including but not limited to:

  • www.fitpev.com and any subdomains

  • FIT’s visitor registration kiosks and call boxes

  • SMS/MMS programs (notifications, alerts, and training reminders)

  • Training and compliance portals

  • Internal IT systems provided to employees, contractors, and partners


3. Authorized Use

You agree to use FIT systems only for lawful, authorized business or personal purposes related to FIT operations. You must not:

  • Access or attempt to access systems without proper authorization.

  • Interfere with or disrupt network integrity, services, or security features.

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, spam, or false information.

  • Use FIT systems to harass, threaten, or violate any laws or regulations.

Violation of these provisions may result in suspension of access, termination of employment or contracts, and/or legal action.


4. Account Responsibilities

Certain services (e.g., visitor management, training, or employee portals) require user authentication. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.

  • Ensuring any data you submit is accurate and up to date.

  • Not sharing your access credentials with unauthorized parties.

FIT is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to maintain security of your account or device.


5. SMS/MMS Communications

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from FIT regarding operations, security alerts, and related updates.

  • Message frequency may vary.

  • Standard message and data rates may apply.

  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

6. Data Collection and Privacy

FIT collects and processes limited personal information necessary for operational and compliance purposes. We respect your privacy and comply with applicable U.S. and Florida privacy laws, including:

  • The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)

  • The Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act (CAN-SPAM)

  • The Florida Privacy Protection Act (FPPA) (if enacted or applicable)

7. Intellectual Property

All FIT trademarks, logos, website content, training materials, and systems are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any FIT content without written authorization.


8. Third-Party Links & Services

FIT systems may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment processors, training vendors). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of these external services.

Access them at your own risk and review their respective terms and privacy policies.


9. Disclaimer of Warranties

All FIT systems and communications are provided “as is” and “as available.”

FIT makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that defects will be corrected immediately.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FIT and its affiliates, officers, and employees are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of FIT systems;

  • Unauthorized access or alteration of transmissions or data;

  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of services.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with any FIT service is to discontinue use.


11. Compliance and Monitoring

FIT reserves the right to monitor system activity and communications for operational, compliance, and security purposes.

Use of FIT networks or systems constitutes consent to such monitoring and auditing in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.


12. Termination

FIT may suspend or terminate access to its systems or communications at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, security concerns, or operational necessity.


13. Changes to These Terms

FIT may revise these Terms from time to time.

The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of FIT systems after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Broward County, Florida.
