Please ensure that all drivers and dispatchers are made aware of the following important requirements for operating on FIT property:
Identification (TWIC, Port Everglades ID, or Driver’s License) must be presented upon request by management or security personnel at all times while on FIT property. This is both a Federal Requirement and FIT policy.
Compliance with all requests from management and security is mandatory. This includes requests such as moving a truck to a different location or exiting the terminal. Drivers should comply with any such request and, if they believe there has been an error, should contact their dispatcher afterward for clarification.
